AUTUMN PROPOSAL IDEAS

AUTUMN PROPOSAL IDEAS

Thinking of asking the most important question to a loved one this autumn? We have some very simple, but not unusual ideas for you to use as inspiration!

Proposal in autumn can be quite magical, so get into the spirit! Autumn brings crisp-cool weather and the cold and dark evenings of winter arrive quite quickly. After all, you want to spend the cold season in the safe embrace of a loved one, and why not spend it already engaged! There is also one big advantage of getting engaged in autumn, as there is plenty of time to organise the wedding you want to have next summer.

GETTING MARRIED IN AN AUTUMN PARK OR FOREST

The changing leaves in autumn are the most beautiful attribute of the season. If you live in an area with spectacular autumn leaves, take your partner for a walk in the trees. You can organise a small picnic with hot tea and snacks. This is a very simple and easy to implement but very romantic proposal idea. Besides, there's no better backdrop for engagement photos than a string of gold, orange and yellow leaves!

GETTING ENGAGED IN A PUMPKIN PATCH

Carving pumpkins is one of the most exciting autumn activities. So why not try asking a question with a pumpkin? Carve the message of your proposal in a pumpkin (or several pumpkins for a more dramatic effect), light it up in the dark and ask the question under a starry night sky. You can also go to a pumpkin patch and kneel on one knee, ring in hand, admiring the abundance, size and variety of pumpkins. Of course, you can also get engaged on Halloween, just try not to scare your partner too much.

GETTING HITCHED IN A VINEYARD

Autumn is harvest time, and one of the many autumn treats is wine. You can organise a trip to a vineyard. And it doesn't have to be France (although you can go there if you have the financial means). There are also several vineyards in Lithuania where you can book a tour with wine tasting or dinner. After a fun wine tasting and a stroll through the vineyard, if you spot a beautiful avenue, you can get down on one knee and say that fateful question to your loved one. You can also organise a small picnic next to the hanging bunches of richly coloured and ripe grapes, dip flowers, put two glasses and a bottle of champagne in an ice-cream bucket, and in the centre of it all, leave a small note with the name of your loved one and the question 'will you marry me'.

A WARM FIRESIDE GREETING

In autumn, the weather turns cool and the air is crisp, which means it's the perfect time to enjoy the warmth of the fireplace! Plan a romantic evening by the fireplace with dinner and drinks. If you don't have a fireplace at home, you can rent a small house near a forest or other beautiful place. Spend some time cosy by the fire and enjoy a romantic meal. And of course, make sure you have champagne and dessert in advance so that when you hear the "yes" you can celebrate right away!

GETTING MARRIED AT SUNSET

Sunset can be the perfect setting for a spectacular proposal. The sun reflects the light off the leaves and creates a wonderful effect that will make the moment seem mystical. You can buy lanterns, candles and bulbs to create a starry romantic setting at your favourite sunset spot, and prepare a warm blanket and a thermos of tea with light snacks. You can also plan your romantic rendezvous in a TV tower (or other tall building), where the sunset views will be even more stunning and the moment even more spectacular. And the backdrop for the photos will be unforgettable.

And of course, however you decide to get engaged, don't forget to take care of your engagement ring. Our e-shop www.pasipuosk.lt offers a wide selection of rings, from silver to gold, rhinestones and gemstones.
